A Trip to the Park

Well, last weekend the "Whatley 3" (and Roxie) decided to take a trip to the park. Dan got off of work early last Friday and the weather outside was gorgeous so we took advantage of the oppurtunity. It was pretty comedic though watching us try to get out the door. It definetly is not as easy as it once was to do something spontaneous. Nonetheless, two hours and three large packed bags later...we were off! :) Getting to the park wasn't that much fun but once we were out there everyone really enjoyed the change in scenery...especially Roxie! Will also got to try out his new adorable hat from Gigi and Jabo! Hope you enjoy the pics.

Fun times at Home

Here are just some random pictures of Will doing things around the house. The first ones are him laughing and playing in the bouncy seat. Nonnie came and spent a couple of days here and he really enjoyed spending time smiling and talking with her. Then we put him in his crib where he stared and made noises at the aquarium toy. It was amazing how long he was intrigued by the aquarium and was really content playing by himself. I loved walking by and hearing him coo or squeal in delight at the toy. And finally, there are some pictures of Will watching a Red Sox game with Dan. It was so cute to see Will and Dan bonding together even if it is over the Red Sox! ;) Will was totally focused on the tv and we couldn't even get him to look away for a picture. I think he likes baseball!

Easter Weekend

We headed down to Jackson for Easter weekend. I was actually glad that it was little chilly outside because Will got to wear this adorable sweater outfit that he got as a gift when he was born. Now that he can finally wear it, it has started to warm up...so we welcomed the cool weather. It was a great trip and really good to see everyone!! The Easter bunny came to visit Will and brought him some candy (Mom and Dad will have to eat this year) and a navy blue striped shirt. You can see how excited he was from the picture! :) So cute! We also got to spend some time over at Amma and Papa's house with Will's second cousins, Emma, Alex, and Chase. It was fun to see how much Will liked interacting with other kids. Alex was especially his favorite. (Alex is the little boy in the blue shirt holding Will in the pictures). Will also got to meet his Aunt Missy for the first time and all of her girls, Sara, Sydney, and Shelby. What a wonderful weekend!!

Super Bulldog Weekend

Will made his first trip to Bulldog country this past weekend. We went to Starkville for Super Bulldog weekend and stayed with Brett and Kelly. It was a very fun weekend and thankfully the weather didn't damper things too much. It was also really fun to see a lot of our college friends that had not met Will yet. Will was a trooper as usual and so Dan, Will, and I all got to have a really great time. The only thing that slightly bothered him was the bright sun and the heat (you can tell in one of the close up pictures). Poor kid is really gonna find it rough during the summer!
