5 Months Old

I can't believe I almost let the day go by yesterday without realizing it was Andrew's 5 month-day! :) After five months with this little man in my life all I can say is God is good!! We have been so blessed with two wonderful, healthy, happy, sweet, loving little boys.

Andrew is rolling over now....pretty stubborn about it, but he will do it.

He is eating cereal and loooooves it!

He is a great sleeper and likes to be swaddled every night. I thought that he would be over that by now, but whatever works!!

And he is still the happiest baby I have ever come across! We lovingly refer to him as "slap happy." :)

Brotherly Love

I was trying to get a picture of the boys in their matching shirts and, of course, I couldn't pick just one shot! I love these little boys!!!!

Sonoma in Starkville

Last Saturday night, Dan and I went to a fundraiser called Sonoma in Starkville. We had a blast! It was great having a fun night out with friends sans kiddos. We cannot thank Kelly and Brett enough for watching the boys for us! Y'all are the best and now it is your turn to have a night out and we will return the favor. :)

MSU Football Game #1

On Saturday, we went to our first MSU football game of the season! Yea!! We all love MSU sports and especailly love tailgating! We had a HUGE crowd at the tailgate which was so much fun. Our group has lots of little kiddies and it was great to watch all the boys...and girl ;) play together. I had been saying all along that I didn't think Andrew would do as well as Will did as a baby at the tailgate...I was worried about him needing a nap and not being able to take one with all of the noise and people. But, once again, my children love to prove me wrong and he was absolutely perfect! I guess I don't mind being wrong when things work out better than I expected. :) Dan and I took Will to the game and Nonnie kept Andrew at the tailgate for us! (Thanks Nonnie!)

The game was delayed right after we got to our seats due to rain. I ran to concourse under the stadium during the rain, while Dan and Will braved the elements! Will told me he was a "tough guy." He is certainly tougher than his mommy.

Will and Tyler had a great time together at the game...sharing snacks and high fives.

So much fun!! I can't wait until the next game.

Andrew and Cereal

I will preface this by saying these are not the cutest pictures of my little sweetie. :)

We have tried cereal with Andrew a couple of times, but, he has not seemed very interested until last night...and then he went to town! Well, as you all know, little Drew man has some issues with drool and eating off of a spoon does not help this problem. He was soaked when he was finished. We can only hope he grows into a cleaner eater. :)

He sure was happy though!

ELMO!

On Saturday, Dan and I took Will to see Sesame Street Live in Jackson. It was great! We had been talking it up all week to Will and he thought that we were going to "Elmo's house" on Saturday morning...so Will thinks that Elmo lives in the Coliseum now! :) When we got there, the anticipation was eating Will alive. He couldn't talk about anything...100 percent of his focus was on getting to our seat and watching the stage until Elmo and crew came out. It was sooo funny to see how excited and yet how nervous Will was about the whole experience. When the music started and the characters came out, he stayed very serious and never cracked a smile, but he was loving it. I don't think he blinked the entire time! :) We had great seats on the floor and Dan and I were not concerned about Will with the noise or all the action. What we were concerned with was the possibility of a character getting too close to him and Will freaking out! He DOES NOT like the Easter bunny, Santa, Bully, etc. when they come toward him. Well, sure enough, characters start to make their way out into the audience, and Will starts to climb up Dan's shirt. But, one of the monsters ended up coming down our row and Dan talked Will ended waving to him. Well, a wave turned into a high five and Will was thrilled!! I am pretty sure his heart was beating a mile a minute, but he stayed calm. All in all, it was a great show and I am so glad that we took Will. Andrew stayed at Nonnie and Papaw's house, so Will had all the attention!
After the show, we went to the Kirks' house for lunch and the kids played a little while. Will was exhausted by the time we made it back to my parents' house and took a looooooonnnnngg nap!
