Happy Birthday, EK!

Last weekend, our sweet little friend, Emily Kay, celebrated her 2nd birthday! The theme was an Easter egg hunt and it was so cute and so much fun. The kids all loved looking for eggs! Will was one of the oldest kids there, so I had to be sure and remind him to allow some of the little ones to get some eggs too. We all know how competitive that kid can get(I think he got a pretty healthy dose of competition from Mommy and Daddy), but he was very sweet and very considerate of the "babies." Thanks to the Kirks for such a fun party!

Hooray for the Beach!

I am really late getting this post up, but here it is! We made a trip down to Fort Morgan with Dan's parents (Gigi and Jabo) and Brett, Kelly, and Kate a couple of weeks ago. It was such a nice, relaxing get-away! The weather was great while we were there...a little cool, but clear and sunny almost the whole time. We got out on the beach a couple of days, played in the sand, shopped a little, and Dan even played a some golf! :)
We are so fortunate to be able to go on trips like this every so often with our family, just to get out of town for a little while. A big thanks to Gigi and Jabo! We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to the next time!

I forgot to pack a hat for Andrew, so he is wearing one of Kate's. He is almost too pretty to be a little boy right!? :)
