Andrew made his arrival on Friday, April 17th at 12:03 pm. He weighed 8 lb 1 oz and is 20 inches long and has a head full of dark hair! A perfect, healthy baby!! The whole day went so well! It is definetly true what they say about the 2nd time around...a whole lot faster and easier! We arrived at the hospital on Friday morning around 6:00 and started Pitocin to get my contractions going. They broke my water around 9:45 and that is when the contractions really kicked in! I got my epidural about 11:15 and by 11:45 I was fully dilated and ready to start pushing. 20 minutes later and here is Andrew! We got to spend about an hour with him after he was born before he had to go back to the nursery for a few hours. Will tried to ignore him for a little while before he finally got interested in him. It was the sweetest thing watching the two of them interact. Well, I am sure I will have lots more to report after we get settled at home, but here are the birthday pictures for all of you to enjoy!

I am overwhelmed by the sheer joy of seeing "my baby" have her beautiful baby. You are an amazing mother! I am so proud and happy for you, Dan and Will. I love you so much!!!
Amy! I love these pictures. It brings tears to my eyes to see another sweet baby. I agree with Nonnie that you are a great mom and that Dan is a wonderful dad. I can't wait to hold him, but in the mean time I'll be looking at these wonderful pictures!
And I have to add that he looks so much like Will did as a newborn! Can't wait to see his hair.
I am so much at awe of this wonderful family you and Dan are bringing into this world and I am so glad that I am around to get to enjoy this new additional to our family!!!!! I just love these pictures and especially the one of Will holding Andrew. Give him lots of kisses from Great Aunt Tam!!!! Tell him I will be seeing him soon and I love all of you so much!!!!
