Andrew's B-day Celebration

Andrew turned 1 on Saturday! Can you believe it? My little baby is already a year old. Where has the time gone?
We had a very fun and very busy weekend! It was Super Bulldog weekend and so there were tons of activities going on around town. Friday night, the Kirks and Nonnie and Papaw came into town to stay with us for the weekend and we all went to the baseball game. Will had a great time playing on the jumpers (which he calls jumperoos) and the other kiddie games they had set up.
Then, Saturday morning, we ventured out the Cotton District Arts festival. I was really impressed with everything they had going on and the number of people! It was packed!!
Will and Emily Kay got to climb inside a fire truck! This was BIG for Will! He loves fire trucks!

We then made it over to the Kid's area where Will stayed at the train display for at least 30 minutes before we could move on.

Andrew took in the morning sleeping in his stroller. We had big plans of him taking a later nap so he would be fresh and ready for his party, but Andrew apparently had other plans.

And in other big news, Clay proposed to Michelle on Saturday. We all met up with them after the festival to congratulate and share our excitement!!

We had a party for Andrew at our house that afternoon. We set up tailgate tents and had a "ballpark" themed party with hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn, and, of course, cupcakes!

It didn't take long for Andrew to dive into his cupcake.

And Gigi even shared some of her ice cream cone with him. He was one happy 1 year old!

Opening some of his gifts....

We had a pinata that Will had a time getting to break open.

He tried getting Dan's shoulders to crack it and even upgraded bats, but Brett eventually had to make a little opening for the candy to come out. That thing was tough!

And not missing out on any event of the weekend, we made it to the scrimmage game that evening!
These two are the best of friends. They did not leave each other's side the entire weekend. We have big dreams of a future Mr. and Mrs. on our hands! :)

That night Dan and I went to a get together for Clay and Michelle at the Aldridge house. Nonnie and Papaw took two very tired little boys home after one busy day!!
Whew! I am still tired from this weekend, but it was such a blast! Congratulations Clay and Michelle and a happy, happy birthday to our baby boy!
Speaking of Andrew, he had his checkup this week and is doing great. He is 23lb 3oz(50th) and is 30.25(75th) inches tall. He had to get 3 shots, but handled it pretty well. He is growing so big and I know that walking is not too far off the radar for him now! Lord help me!!
