Christmas in Dixie

(That's for you, Dad)
We just got back from the first part of our Christmas vacation. We went down to Jackson to spend time with my family, and had a wonderful time. Being there for almost a full week, we were able to do a lot and see almost everyone.
The kids, Dan, and I opened gifts on Friday night, and were completely spoiled! Thank you Mom and Dad for all of the great gifts. Y'all are always so generous.
We really missed Erin and James being there. Hopefully, it will work out next time.
Amma came over one afternoon to make gingerbread houses with us. The boys have a lot to learn when it comes to gingerbread house making, but Mom and I are willing to continue working with them, year after year. :)
We got to see Missy, Sara, Sydney, and Shelby on Monday night and exchange gifts with them. Will and Andrew looooveee their Toy Story characters. Will has been asking for Buzz for months!

Dan had a fun hunting trip to Batesville where he shot his first buck! We were a little worried about explaining the pictures to Will, but he was so proud and was completely okay with it all. He is also really excited about the deer jerky to follow.

On Monday morning, Molly invited us over to her house for a kiddie Christmas party. It was a blast and Molly and the other moms had so many cute things planned for the kids. Thanks for including us, Molly.

On Wednesday, we took the kids to the new Children's Museum. It was sooooo fun!! There were so many different things for the kids to do. I think the pictures pretty much explain themselves.

Andrew loved the music and dress up room. I think we might have a little ham on our hands.

Will's favorite thing was the "strustruction" (construction site). What can I say, he takes after his dad! :)
