Kickball

So, we have officially entered into the world of organized(ha!) sports. Will started kickball in June and it is in one word, HILARIOUS! These adorable little kids out there playing is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. In the first game, there were lots of wiffed kicks at the ball, running in the wrong direction, or just sheer refusal to get out on the field. It takes almost as many parents on the field as kids to keep things running smoothly. But, they have all really learned a lot and have improved greatly. Just in time for our last game next week. :) Will loves it! He is all about kicking that ball as hard as he can and usually cannot wait long enough for it to reach home plate, so he takes about 5 steps toward the ball. Defense is another story. At first, he would not run after a ball in fear of stepping out of his appointed spot. But, he has gotten a little more aggressive with every game and has even tagged a kid out. This is the only video I have and it is from the first game. I will try to get a better video at our next game.
