Nursery Reveal

Well, we are finally getting around to putting the nursery together. It has been a work in progress for a few months now, but just not on the top of our to-do list. I think the hold up on deciding on a name for baby girl had a lot to do with that. But, here is how it looks today:


And as you can see, we have decided to name our little girl "June Elizabeth." We are really happy with the name and it just seems to fit. It is a combination of some family names of some really special people. My Aunt June is the cutest, spunkiest, tiniest 80-something woman you will ever meet and I have always loved her and hope that our June has her fun personality. And Elizabeth is my sister's middle name as well as my grandmother's middle name. So, the name holds a lot of special meaning.
I am also really happy with how the room has turned out. It has all the soft colors I envisioned for a little girl's room and it just feels like a room with an old soul which goes right along with her name. :)
Of course, good ole Pinterest gave me lots of ideas for the room. I really like these embroidery hoops turned out.


The other project that is still ongoing is covering these diaper boxes in the closet(another Pinterest idea). I have not been as thrilled with this project. It is time consuming and not exactly the look I was wanting. I may need to rethink this one...


Thanks to all of our wonderful friends and family, baby June is set in the clothes department! We have also been given or loaned all the other "stuff" you need for a baby that we either didn't have or didn't keep from the boys. She is already one loved little girl!
