June's Baptism

We celebrated June's Baptism on Sunday after 11:30 mass.
Fr. John performed a beautiful sacrament and we feel so blessed to have shared it with some many of our family members and friends.

Thanks to all who made the day perfect by being here to celebrate such a special day with us.
Nonnie and Papaw drove in on Sunday.

Gigi and Jabo came and spent the whole weekend.

Patrick and Katie made the long trip over from Decatur early on Sunday morning.

And the Landrys, our local "family," shared in the day with us too.

I hope you all know how special you are to us and how much it means to us that you all were here to pray with us for June's first step in the Catholic faith.
And we missed all you who were unable to make it, but we know you too will keep our precious girl in your prayers.

Father in Heaven,
when the Spirit came down upon Jesus
at His Baptism in the Jordan,
You revealed Him as Your own Beloved Son.
Keep me, Your child,
born of water and the Spirit,
faithful to my calling.
May I, who share in Your Life
as Your child through Baptism,
follow in Christ's path of service to people.
Let me become one in His Sacrifice
and hear His Word with faith.
May I live as Your child,
following the example of Jesus.
