The Most Wonderful Summer

We had the best summer!   It was full of all of our favorite things:  baseball, time spent outdoors, and time together as a family.  I will admit that I was a little concerned that the boys were going to grow tired of each other early in the summer and so I was sure to have lots of tricks up my sleeve with projects from Pinterest, little adventures planned, and a few camps here and there.  And although Andrew did have a trip to Gigi and Jabo's house and Will and Dan went on a trip to St. Louis, most of our time was spent here, together, in good ole Starkville.
It was busy!  It was fun!  And it went by way too quickly!
Here is a run-down of our summer:

Will learned to ride his bike without training wheels.
Will and Andrew played on the same t-ball team.
We went to LOTS of MSU baseball games.
The Kirks came for a visit.

We made lots of yummy treats from Pinterest.  (Homemade pop tarts)
We launched water balloons.
Will and Andrew became expert car washers.
The boys did Vacation Bible School at our church.
We played at the park.
We played at the splash pad.
We had an end of the season t-ball party.
We cheered on the bulldogs' World Series run in Omaha by making signs for Local Culture.  (We really did this for the free frozen yogurt.)
We made a mini trip over to Tupelo to shop and have fun at the mall.  The looks on the boys' faces in this picture describes their feelings on riding the carousel.  (You would have thought I had suggested free falling from a 10 story building.)
We opted for the free play area instead.  :)  Miss Priss tried on some cowgirl boots.
We played more baseball...this time in pj's.
June turned 1!
We made "sponge bombs!"

Andrew kept it cool.
We went to the 4th of July fireworks show at the Sportsplex.
We made sno cones.
We bought sno cones.
We made frozen yogurt drops.
Will and Andrew took swim lessons.  Andrew got "kicked out" the 2nd week, but Will finished.  :)
Will, Andrew, and Dan were pictured in the newspaper for an event we went to at the Wellness Connection.

We made spy obstacle courses.
We made a "June Bug" mocktail.
June Bug ate lots of tomatoes.
Will and Andrew went to Farm Camp and made new friends.  :)
We made marshmallow launchers.
And on the last weekend of summer, we made our annual trip to Lake Tiak O'Khata.
It rained and chased everyone else out of the park.  We ate ice cream, waited for the rain to pass, and then had the entire place to ourselves.
Andrew went down the HUGE slide by himself!
