Will's Adventures...

We have had a couple of busy weeks at the Whatley house. Last week, the three of us made a trip to Jackson for DJ and Kristin's wedding. On Sunday, Dan came back to Birmingham with Molly and Kirk, while Will and I stayed in Jackson for a few days. It was sort of a spontaneous decision, but it ended up being SOOO much fun and really great to spend some extra time with Nonnie and Papaw. Then, the next weekend (this past weekend) we made a trip to Hartselle to see the other side of our family. It was fun to see everyone for one last time this summer before Patrick and Clay head to Mississippi State for school. While we were there, Gigi captured some great pics of Will. To narate some of the pictures...




The first night, we cooked out at Gigi and Jabo's. We gave Will a chicken bone to chew on...before any of you start to think that I am a bad parent for letting this happen, let me explain. hehe There is a standing joke/old idea in Dan's family about giving a baby a chicken bone to keep him happy. So we just staged it for the picture. :) And the next day, Will had to take a bath to get all that chicken off! Just kidding, but he does LOVE bathtime!!





Then, we went over to Grandmother and Pappa's house to have lunch. Will was spending some QT watching sports with Brett and the other boys. Then we took a generation picture...what an amazing group of guys!! :) And after that, we made a short stop over at Nanny and Papa's house so that we saw ALL of Will's great grandparents and grandparents in one week!! Pretty cool huh?





Back at Gigi and Jabo's house, we took some family shots in the backyard. After the pictures were over Will and Dan were goofing around and Will was getting tossed in the air. He was loving it!! (wow...I really look like a bad mom from some of the stuff that got captured on camera this weekend...it was all in good fun though. :) )




Finally, on Sunday, Gigi took some cute pictures of Will. Will was a little cranky and in need of a nap, but the pictures still turned out great.
