On Sunday after Mass, we celebrated the Baptisms of Andrew and Kate at St. Joseph's. It was really special having the Baptisms together since the kids are so close in age and so we had almost everyone from our families in town to celebrate with us. It meant so much having everyone fly or drive great distances to be a part of the special event. It is a very important part of Andrew's life as well as our lives and we could not have asked for a more beautiful occasion! As I glanced around the room to see the number of people surrounding us, I could not help but realize how blessed we are to have the love and support of so many! We love you all so much!
Erin(my sister) and Patrick (Dan's brother) served as Andrew's godparents. And we have the pleasure of being Kate's godparents along with Beau and Mary Katheryn (Brett's siblings).
Andrew was GREAT through the entire ceremony. He was just smiling and taking it all in. He didn't even cry when Fr. John poured water over his head! YAY! I always hold my breath for that part. :) All in all it was a perfect day!
**I have so many great pictures that I made collages out of most of them to save on space. To make the collage larger in order to see the pictures close up, just click on the whole collage and it will open into another window.**
**Also, admittedly, I have so filled this post with pictures of my boys, but there are many more wonderful pictures of Kelly, Brett, and Kate and Brett's family that I am relying on Kelly to post on her blog! :)
Here is a collage of pictures of Will and Andrew from events leading up to the Baptism on Sunday...playing on campus with Grandmother, Pappa, Tamra, and Randy and coloring with Erin, James, and Nonnie.
