In my parents' neighborhood, they have a 4th of July parade and it is always so much fun for the kiddos. We strolled in the parade all decked out in our red, white, and blue! After the parade they had a kiddie train ride and watermelon set out for everyone to enjoy! And Will certainly did!!!
On Saturday afternoon, Missy, her girls (Sara, Sydney, and Shelby), and Hannah came over. We cooked out hamburgers and hung out by the pool.
Then, that night, we went to see some fireworks at the park. Last year, Will was afraid of the fireworks, so we talked them up a lot on the way to see them so that he knew what was coming. I think it worked, because he was fascinated by them this year.
The boys and I ended up staying a few days into the week. Nonnie and I (plus kids...very interesting) shopped on Monday and Tuesday. It was fun, but not quite as easy as it used to be! :) Andrew did however get a bumbo out of the deal. I figured he would be a little young for it, but after seeing him in it, he is probably not too far off.
