Our Jack-O-Lanterns

We finally got around to carving our pumpkins last night. The boys had a great time! Will had been excited about carving pumpkins since early that morning, so holding him off until after dinner was a challenge.

Andrew, of course, tried to eat his pumpkin. He actually took a few bites. Apparently raw pumpkin is pretty tasty.

The finished products:

(I (Andrew) carved the ghosts. Dan (Will) did the spiderweb.)

WOW! those are great pumpkins! i'm glad that when you guys were small all that was expected was a snaggle tooth mouth, 2 triangle eyes and nose. i would not have been up for such a challenge! :) and btw...andrew may have discovered how it was determined that pumpkins would make a terrific pie! love that baby and that picture! xoxoxoxo
