What a day...

in a good way!
It was one of those days where everything just sort of "clicked." We had tons of stuff we wanted to do, but no real strict agenda, so we just headed out with the best of intentions.
We started out the day with the Kid's Fair at Sudduth Elementary School. All 4 of us had so much fun! It was also good to get more aquainted with the school Will is going to be attending for kindergarten.
(sidebar: Speaking of school, Will is really becoming more and more confident by the day. I feel like he is "ready" for kindergarten and am even getting excited for him to go next fall. He has come a long way and it makes a mom and dad proud to watch our little one grow.)
Here he is playing some games:
Will is still totally obsessed with basketball and so he was sooo excited that they had a basketball game.
The boys loved all of the games, but both really loved the sporty ones, ie basketball, golf, and football toss.

Then, after that, we picked up some Subway sandwiches and headed to the baseball game, a double-header at that. We got there around the 4th inning and saw the bulldogs pull out a victory.
Dan then took the boys out to the outfield to air out a little before the second game started.
Second game began, Andrew got snuggled into my lap, and proceeded to nap for about 45 minutes. Now, our kids have been known to nap at the loudest, strangest places(football games, tailgates, etc), but I am still always shocked when it actually happens. And it probably would not happen if we planned it, but all the stars aligned today and it just worked out.

Then, we left the second game in time to walk over to the basketball game. Yep! We were that ambitious, but again, it actually worked today. The basketball game was very exciting and another huge win for the bulldogs and the Whatleys.
We got home, had dinner, and the kids fell asleep just about as quickly as their heads hit the pillows.
Happy kids + Happy parents = A REALLY fun day!
