Will, Big and Tall

We went for Will's 2 year old checkup today and as expected Will is a big ole boy and doing great. He weighs 30 lbs 6 oz which puts him in the 80th percentile and he is 35 3/4 inches which is over the 90th percentile. The doctor's response was..."well, you have a really big two year old!" haha no kidding!! He is also doing great on all his milestones and the doctor says we don't have to come back for another checkup until he is 3 years old. YEAH! That is really good news because I am pretty sure that Will has figured out what the doctor's office is all about and does not like it one bit. He threw a tantrum when the nurse was only trying to get him to stand on the scale. I was trying to talk some sense into him and he just got more and more mad. The nurse ended up having to stand at the door and let me get Will on the scale myself. I won't even go into how he much he disliked having his temperature taken. So, like I said, it is really good that we don't have to go back for another year unless he gets sick!!
In other good news, Roxie has moved back in with us and we are all enjoying her! Will loves having his playmate back, Dan is enjoying taking her for walks in the morning, and I am pleasantly surprised with how much calmer she is and what a good dog she has become. I think living with Nonnie and Papaw for 8 months was really good for her. We are able to leave her out when we are not here and she is just as content and calm as she can be when we get home. For anyone who knows Roxie of old, this is definetly a new thing!! Will and the dog are both growing up! :)
