We found out today that our newest addition is indeed a little girl. I have had a pretty strong intuition all along that this baby was a girl, but it has been confirmed by ultrasound today.
We are all so, so excited about welcoming a girl to our family...even Will couldn't help but grin when he found out the baby is a girl. :)
She is about 10 oz right now!

She kept burying her head away from the sonographer's wand and here she was even hiding her face with her arms.
Due to a pop-up illness from Andrew last night, the boys ended up going to the appointment with us instead of going over to a friend's house as planned. Andrew seems to be doing fine now and I am actually so glad that the boys were with us. It just felt right having all of our family in the room when we found out.
I have had tons of ideas on how to share the news with both the boys and with everyone else like a gender reveal cake/party (thank you, Pinterest) but this plan worked out even better! And a lot less work and preparation on my part. Ha!
To say that our house is going to be turned upside down with a little girl would be an understatement. This house is full of nothing but cars, dinosaurs, mud, and noise! So it should be really interesting adding a little femininity to the mix. I have a feeling she will have to be able to hold her own, but I also know/hope that the boys are going to treat her like a princess.
And I'm sure glad that she will have two older brothers to look after her as she grows up. Oh, so much to look forward to!
Can you tell we are just a little excited?!

Yay!!! Little girls are SO much fun! They can be expensive because there is so much cute stuff out there for them, but it is totally worth it :).

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... we are so excited! Yes, she will be a princess for sure! I can't wait to hold her in my arms!!! Kate is PUMPED too!!!
