I have been trying to create post from our Spring Break trip to Pensacola that was such fun, but my computer is acting kind of funny and it is taking FOREVER to upload. So, in an effort to not get any further behind in blog world, I'm going to link up to Kelly's great blog post about the week that says it all better than I could probably say it. Thanks again Kelly and Brett for being the best hosts and for going to all the trouble planning, the amazing cooking, and the carting us around that made our week special. We had such a great time as always!!
And now, onto Easter!!
We went to Hartselle for Easter weekend to celebrate with the Whatley crew. It was a really fun weekend that seemed to fly by. We had a full house and yes, it was a little chaotic as this pictures shows:
But it was the fun kind of chaos that comes from having 5 little ones under the age of 6 running around plus a dog. :)
All the kiddos had a great time at Gigi and Jabo's Mercantile that was opened back up for business.
Gigi arranged for the girls to have an awesome yoga session on Saturday morning. Ahhh! Talk about relaxing.
(I have a really cute picture of this that Kelly took, but for some reason it will not upload correctly. Oh well!)
Meanwhile, the guys were at home playing with the kids at the pond. Check out this great shot of Dan, the modern dad. I love it!
Although the weather was a little dreary and cold, we still managed to get in plenty of outdoor fun.
I love this picture of Will. It pretty much sums up our biggest little guy.
Saturday, we also went over to Grandmother and Pappa's for a yummy lunch, but no pictures. Sorry! We will have to capture it the next time.
We all have the same grey and black dress that we all bought a while ago, and have never gotten a picture of everyone together wearing it. So now, photo op accomplished:
We didn't get around to dying Easter eggs until after the kids were in bed on Saturday night, so the adults got to have all the fun.
Sunday morning, 4 very excited little kids waited to see if the Easter bunny came to visit.
And he did!
It was a yucky, rainy morning, so we had an Easter egg hunt inside.
Then it was time for church! Look at this two handsome guys in bow ties.
A very Happy Easter to everyone!!
