A few weeks ago, the Kirk family came for a visit. It was such a fun, relaxing weekend where we did a whole lot of nothing except enjoy one another's company. We had a house full of children with 6 kids between the 2 families. The kids all played really well together and what surprised me most what that Andrew and Emily Kay were pals this time instead of Will who now is the "big kid" of the bunch.
After the kids were in bed, the adults sat around talking and catching up on life. There was even a little Mario kart action between the 2 grown up boys. :) Some things never change!
I'm so thankful for great friends and love that our friendship has continued on from college, even high school, now into the child raising years!
