Will and Jabo had been planning a trip to St. Louis to watch the Cardinals play for quite a while. And last summer, the trip came to fruition! The trip started out with some hiccups when Jabo got really sick the week before they were supposed to leave. But a little medication and lots of persistence and some finagling by Dan and Jabo, the guys were off!
Believe it or not, this was Will's first stay in a hotel. He was thrilled!
The guys walked everywhere they visited while there.
First stop was a stop at the Cardinals gift shop before a tour of the stadium.
Next, a tour of the arch.
Then it was time for Game 1!
The next day, they visited the Budweiser plant. Will was a good sport while the big guys enjoyed this part of the trip. Though, seeing the Clydesdale horses was one of the most memorable parts of the trip for him.
Next stop: The City Musem
This place sounded so interesting. It was an entire museum made out of recycled steel or metal pieces and was one huge playground for kids and adults alike.
Game 2!
Another highlight for Will was the indoor pool and hot tub. :)
They even managed to squeeze in some baseball on the car trip home by stopping and stretching their legs at the rest stops.
This trip was a dream come true for our little sports nut and memories that he will have for a lifetime. Thanks Jabo for planning such a fun trip with our biggest boy!
