Best Friends...well, almost

Ever since the day I found out that our second child was going to be a boy, I have been waiting for the day that Andrew and Will would enjoy playing together. I grew up with a sister two years younger than me, so I know the joys of having a same sex sibling so close in age.
Well, I think we are getting closer...

They sat and played play-doh together for almost an hour!!

Up until this point, Andrew has not had the attention span to play with Will, but he is starting to like to do some of the same things now. Don't get me wrong, his attention span is still very much that of a 17 month old, but it is better than it was. And Will is starting to be a little more tolerable of Andrew too!
I just have great visions of building forts, playing legos, and playing ball together in the future for these two.
But for now, I will take pleasure in this new fun stage we are reaching! :)

And here they are eating breakfast together! Love these two cute boys!

(It is getting harder and harder to get Will to smile naturally for a picture, so we always end up with this strained, squinty eyes look! What are ya gonna do?!)

mmm...mmm! so precious! seeing the boys play together and looking ahead to their many adventures makes me think of the song "Indians in the Woods" - they will "attack" them together! OR maybe Will will make Andrew cry by tormenting him a bit when they play ball in the backyard! (think daniel and patrick) :)
love and kisses to you all,
gigi

I would say "these are the good days"...but they're ALL good days with precious children like these. I always loved watching my girls play and listening to their cute conversations...oh, wait...no I wasn't listening! Ha!
