Let me count the ways!
Being the second child he is often sharing the limelight with his big bro, so I decided to devote an entire blog post to my litte Andy! So here are just a few reasons I love my baby boy:
1. He is a hoot!! Just check out this picture. He showed up in the kitchen the other day, looking just like this! Child proofing at its best!
2. He loves his glow worm. He has been struggling to get to sleep for the past week or so and Dan and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. We replaced the batteries in his glow worm and put him to bed with it last night and bam, we have a cure for the sleep problem. He was just missing glow worm. :) He likes to play the music and then hold the glowing head up to his head. Pretty cute!
3. He has the music within. He can't help but bust a move at any sound of music.
4. He can communicate with very few words. He speaks his own language and is perfectly fine with that. He doesn't see the need in learning our silly words!
5. He has the most adorable smile. And he smiles a lot!! He is one happy little guy.
6. As Dan says...he is an herbivore, eating mostly fruits and veggies! :) That's my boy!
7. He gets away with a lot because he is just so darn cute! He definately has a mischevious streak.
8. He is so snuggly, still! I thought this would pass with his growing independence, but his favorite place is still in Mommy's lap.
9. If he gets upset, he just needs to be acknowledge and then he drops it. Almost any problem can usually be solved by a paci and/or being picked up.
10. I could go on and on, but I will wrapped it all up by saying that Andrew is an absolute light in all of our lives. He brings love, humor, and pure joy to each and every day!
Okay, okay, one more thing...So I can't resist telling one more side story on Andrew. As you saw in one of the pictures, he discovered his infant carrier the other day and decided to try it as a lounger. He outgrew the seat by the time he was 9 months old, so he hasn't seen it in a while. Well, the seat was in my car today and I was making my weekly grocery run while Will was at school. Of course, Andrew decides to take his nap as I am driving to Kroger. Ugh! So, I decided to try to transport him into the seat and keep him asleep while I shop. Ha! (I was desperate to get my shopping done with just one child.) Well, he woke up on the walk into the store, but decided he liked taking in the sites of Kroger from his new favorite lounge seat. So, I got an hour long shopping trip done with big ole Andrew riding the entire time in the infant carrier! Think he was comfy or what!?
