After setting up the tents on Friday afternoon, we headed over to Bulldog Bash with the boys to watch the pep rally. I was a little disappointed that the jumpers and kiddie stuff were already taken down, but we did get to see the cheerleaders and "Coach Muuuuullen" talk.(That's how Will says his name...in true Southern boy fashion, he draaaaws it out!)
Later that night, Natalie and Jesse came into town and we got to have an adult night out at Bulldog Bash. We also had our first official babysitter come to the house for the boys. We have always had family to watch the boys, so we have never had to hire a sitter. Everything went great of course. The boys were actually already asleep, so it was a pretty easy night for Morgan. :)
So, Dan, Natalie, Jesse, and I headed out to the Jason Mraz concert. There was an insane amount of people out and one thing is for sure though. I am soooo not a college kid anymore. Friday night was a lot of fun, but it wore me out!
Then, on Saturday, we did our usual tailgate thing! In addition to our regular crowd, we had lots of friends in town that we haven't seen in a while. This made Saturday especially fun.
Here are pictures of some of the tailgaters(I did not get pictures of everyone, unfortunately.):
We were so happy to see Kelly and Brett again. We have missed them soooo much!
Miriam and Kendall came to their first game in a loooonnng time. And sweet baby Mallory came too! As you can see, it got pretty hot, so had to strip down most of the babies.
Dad, Jesse and his crew!
Adelaide and Cannon made their first tailgating appearance with the Kirks! They were GREAT! They slept almost the whole day.
This was one HOT little bulldog.
If Will wasn't chasing the "bad guys" with Tyler, he was probably hanging out with Zane. I don't think he spent more than fifteen minutes sitting down the entire day.
And, it was great having some of our Starkville friends tailgate right next to us! I love tailgating!
