Well, today there is snow on the ground for the 4th time this year(and yes, we do still live in Starkville, MS). And this snow is the prettiest and the most snow yet! It probably snowed close to 4 inches last night. Dan and I woke up excited to build another bigger and better snowman, excited about the fact that Dan doesn't have to report to work until 11 am, excited to share some fun memories with our kids.
Well...
Roxie loved the snow!!
As for our two legged offspring...
Andrew ended up lying down on the kitchen floor in a tantrum because his hands were cold since he refused to wear gloves. Don't let that face fool you. He was MAD!
2 minutes later, Will came in screaming and crying because he was "freezing." And so, Dan sat him in front of the heater to warm up.
Our "fun" snow day ended at 7:52am!!!
And, we were not even out long enough for me to get one single picture of us in the snow. This lovely pile of snow covered boots and jackets is all we have to show for it.
All I can say, is that after this morning, I am so glad that we don't live where it snows like this all winter long.
Snow and the Whatleys are done!
Okay, and now for the silver lining. While writing this post, Dan got a message saying that campus will be closed all day! So, there is a bright side!
