Plus, who can be down when you have two little cuties to entertain you on a yucky day?!
I was trying to come up with something to do, and saw this body tracing idea in a book. I traced Will and then let him draw his features and clothes. Now, Will is not much of a craftsman, so it took a lot of work and "focusing" to get him to stay interested in this project even for 10 minutes. But, he was very pleased with the outcome. After all, the drawing does feature Will's favorite subject. :)
I tried to outline Andrew (ha!) but only got one arm done before giving up and letting him do his thing on the paper. Andrew, however, unlike big brother, is really into drawing and artsy stuff and was totally entertained. It was really cute to watch him. He took his time with each marker and scribbled with them to see what each of the different colors looked like. He was very meticulous about the whole thing. Andrew just has so much going on inside that little head of his. We still feel like we are getting to know more and more of him everyday!

How is your Blurb book going? I got inspired last week and got mine caught up for 2010... hopefully I can order it this week!
What beautiful artwork! They are so cute and the boys' expressions show that they are proud of their work!! I love these little artists! (and their "crafty Mom")
